Hocking Hills State Park offers over 25 miles of hiking trails in the nearby Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkle's Hollow, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs and, of course, Old Man's Cave. More hiking and outdoor adventures can be found close at hand at Wayne National Forest, Zaleski State Forest and Lake Hope State Park. There are also special events like Winter Hike, Haunted Hocking and Grandma Gatewood Fall Hike all year long. For those nature lovers who also like to shop, there are antique galleries and gift shops tucked all around the Appalachian hillsides along with plenty of family restaurants and elegant dining.
