Between Fences is about defining ourselves as Americans-our philosophies, our lifestyles, our values and beliefs, our national ethos, and our national borders.

The exhibition consists of an introduction, five content sections, and a conclusion. The sections of the display are: This Land Is My Land, Farm and Fence, Don't Fence Me In, Good Fences Make Good Neighbors, and Building Borders.
